1. Overview

The Cobham Mummies Facebook group is a local online community designed to support residents and promote connections within the Cobham area. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules for any business or individual (“Advertiser”) wishing to post paid advertisements in the group. By purchasing advertising through Cobham Mummies and/or posting promotional material, the Advertiser agrees to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Eligibility
​
Advertising is available only to businesses located within a 25-mile radius of Cobham, Surrey. All adverts must promote products or services that are relevant to the local community. The Cobham Mummies admin team reserves the right to refuse any advertisement that is not suitable, relevant, or compliant with Facebook or group guidelines.

3. Advertising Options & Fees
​
a) Annual Membership - Cost: £240 per year - Early Bird Offer: £120 if purchased before 31st December 2025 - Includes: Up to two (2) posts per week, limited to Mondays and Fridays only - Membership lasts 12 months from the date of payment.
b) One-Off Advertisement - Cost: £15 per individual post - Available to local businesses who do not hold an annual membership. - Post
will remain live in the group feed in accordance with Facebook’s algorithm and group rules.

4. Posting Guidelines
​
Advertisers must post directly within the Cobham Mummies Facebook group on their allocated advertising days (Mondays and Fridays). All posts must include the business name, a brief description of the product or service, and contact details. Posts must not include offensive, misleading, or inappropriate content, or breach copyright/trademark laws. Admins may remove any post that does not meet these guidelines without refund.
5. Payments & Refunds

Payments are to be made via the official Cobham Mummies website or another method approved by the admin team. All fees are non-refundable, including in cases of rule breaches, business closure, or unused posting opportunities. Advertising slots are non-transferable and cannot be shared between businesses.

6. Administration & Liability
​
The Cobham Mummies admin team reserves the right to modify or remove any post that breaches group guidelines or to adjust posting rules or fees with prior notice. Advertisers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their content and for responding to any customer enquiries resulting from their posts. Cobham Mummies and its administrators accept no responsibility for the performance or outcomes of any advertisement, nor for disputes between advertisers and group members.

7. Termination of Advertising Rights
​
Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions or general group rules may result in removal of advertising privileges without refund.
8. Amendments
​
These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically. Any updates will be published on the Cobham Mummies website and/or Facebook group. Advertisers are responsible for reviewing the
latest version.
